Project proposal for the UCR Arts building created for Site-Specific Installation class. Nothing too fancy because I prefer simplicity. The assignment was to create a proposal for any installation you deem fit for any area within the Arts/Interdisciplinary buildings.
"My proposal is to bring more "attractive" or eye-catching colors to the Arts building without obstructing the original architecture. The drips resemble paint but are also structural which addresses what is generally seen as "art" by non-art students. They also function as extra seating since there are only a few benches within the building. One of the pieces expands outward to form a pond in the front of the premises which will draw in more people and provide a relaxing body of water. These drips form a repetition of curves that contrast with the hard geometric edges of the building"
