Yes we make art in the Arts building.
Project proposal for the UCR Arts building created for Site-Specific Installation class. Nothing too fancy because I prefer simplicity. The assignment was to create a proposal for any installation you deem fit for any area within the Arts/Interdisciplinary buildings.
“My proposal is to bring more “attractive” or eye-catching colors to the Arts building without...

Nothing's Free
A collage of things that my 28 year old male roommate thinks he secretly freeloads off of me. I’m all about sharing, but not if it’s one-sided and you use up all my products. I’m about to go handle this.
(Yes, I took the time to make a collage first.)
Living above my bed
I still play my strictly T.I. mix CD in my car.
Took down the 4 posters in my room though :P
Rubberband Man -> I’m Back

The tear sheet for a half-page advertisement I created that is published in Excellence Magazine: The Magazine About Porsche.

Good call on the armature wire, Lattu. Having way too much fun with my sculptures.
She used to be the sweetest girl ever*
*Not the title of the piece, it’s what I’m listening to right now :)
Ball-Nogues Studio
Yesterday we went on a class trip to Ball-Nogues studio in LA. I’m continually impressed by the artists that my professor is able to coordinate studio visits and lectures with. This studio’s work has been shown at MOCA and LACMA as well as many other high and low brow locations (Tiffany and Co./Frank Gehry and even Coachella). Ball-Nogues is a studio that combines architecture and...
Analia Saban
Had the most amazing artist lecture yesterday! Analia Saban works with the dialogue between painting and technology. These are some of my favorite works of hers, though all of them have an interesting process.
“Collapsed Drawing: The Kiss (Roy Lichtenstein)”
Of course I loved the Roy Lichtenstein appropriation <3 This was part of her collapsed series where she cut away at parts...
Masquerade
I never find myself bored because I keep on getting these odd jobs to fit in between my schedule of work/school/art. I enjoy these commissions because it encourages me to work on my graphic design. Anyway it’s not finished yet but here is the gist of it!
Preview!
One of the abstract sculptures I’ve worked on in the past week. Really just enjoying the process! I’ve become completely absorbed in art recently.. I’m sure it’s driving my friends insane because it’s all I talk about now!
I need one of these bad boys in my life.
My work station.
This is how much fabric I have just lying around the house, before I even decided I was going to make soft sculpture for my thesis. I gathered it all together today to see what I have to work with. I’m going to try to use up ALL of it this quarter! I have this really neat faux leather fabric that I can’t wait to use. I also apparently own 8 pairs of scissors…
Then I made...
Spring Splash!
Designed the Spring Splash after party flyer. Holler if you see it on campus!
Spring Splash: Nas, Murs, Little Brother performing live at UCR!
Listening to Nas ft. Quan - Moment of Silence, one of my favorites back in hs. Because baby I’m a thug.
